Meet the Staff of Pigg Enterprises

John has been in the retail automotive business for almost 20 years. He has always disliked the stereotypical car dealership experience built around high-pressure sales tactics, games, and misleading customers. In 2001, while still on active duty in the Air Force, he started Pigg Enterprises as an experiment to see if a no-pressure dealership operated with honesty and integrity could be successful. It was!

John retired from the Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant in 2004 and began pouring himself full-time into the operation at Pigg Enterprises. With the help of his sons, he grew the business from a two-vehicle experiment into a dealership that carries over 120 vehicles.

Pigg Enterprises has become one of the most successful pre-owned dealerships in the state of Alabama by operating the same way for more than 20 years: delivering a vehicle-shopping experience free of stress and hassle, with fair and honest pricing, and a pleasant buying experience that leaves customers squealing!

Robert is a 2001 graduate of Prattville High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. He served in the Alabama Air National Guard from February 2001 to February 2007 and deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Robert has worked in the retail automotive industry for more than 20 years. His extensive experience across every area of the business has given him a deep understanding of the vehicle purchasing process and the role it plays in each customer’s life. Because of this, he is committed to ensuring that the Pigg Enterprises team provides an experience that is honest, enjoyable, and unmatched by any other dealership.

Robert is married to Jessica Moore of Montgomery. They have a daughter, Aria, and a lovable Sheltie named Ella. He serves as the Senior General Manager at Pigg Enterprises and continues to lead the organization with a focus on integrity, service, and community.

Jessica’s roots run deep in the Prattville community through years of involvement in local businesses and strong family connections in the area. She is a 2007 graduate of Auburn University at Montgomery with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, and she later earned her Master of Business Administration from Troy University.

After more than ten years working in marketing, business development, and public relations within the financial industry, Jessica took a leap of faith and launched her own company, Pigg Media and Marketing. Since then, she has devoted her professional efforts to helping grow both family businesses, Pigg Enterprises and Pigg Buys. Her focus is always centered on delivering the level of customer experience that our community expects and deserves.

Jessica is also active in charitable efforts and community causes, but her greatest passion is her family. She has been married to her husband, Robert, for more than 15 years. They share one spirited daughter who proudly holds the title of “boss lady” in the household, along with their Sheltie, Ella.

Jerrod is a 2018 graduate of Auburn University at Montgomery with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, and a 2010 graduate of Killingly High School in Killingly, Connecticut. He was born in Panama City, Florida, and raised in northeastern Connecticut.

Jerrod has been in the car business since he was 18 years old and has built a strong foundation in customer relations, sales, finance, and inventory management. Today, he serves as the General Manager of Pigg Enterprises, where he leads the sales team, oversees daily operations, and works closely with customers who have specific vehicle requests.

Jerrod has a passion for helping people find the right vehicle and for creating a buying experience that is honest, enjoyable, and stress free. His leadership plays a key role in maintaining the high standards and customer focus that Pigg Enterprises is known for.

Jerrod and his fiancée, Kristen, have a daughter named Emma Joe and a son named Owen. Their family also includes a Great Dane named Moose. In his free time, Jerrod enjoys college football, hunting, and fishing.

Jerrod is dedicated to serving customers, supporting the team, and carrying forward the core values that have shaped Pigg Enterprises since 2001.

Leslie Simmons is a 1998 graduate of Stanhope Elmore and a 2004 graduate of Faulkner University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Originally from Millbrook, she now lives in Prattville with her husband, Ty, and their two children, Nathan and Jamie.

Leslie is our Comptroller and truly everyone’s right hand. She manages the office, oversees all bookkeeping, processes every sales document and title, and handles any administrative need that comes her way. She’s the epitome of a team player—always willing to help, always keeping the “big picture” in mind, and always working behind the scenes to ensure our customers and our team enjoy a seamless experience. And honestly, her most impressive skill might be keeping all of us in line. If you’ve ever enjoyed a “Squeal of a Deal,” Leslie has played a huge part in making that possible. She was our first hire outside the family, and we’ve proudly adopted her and her family as part of ours.

Outside the office, Leslie has developed a passion for sourdough. She began experimenting with bread making toward the end of 2023 and now loves sharing how-to videos on social media. She says, “I look forward to blessing you and your family with sourdough!”

Joel was born and raised in Millbrook, Alabama. He also spent three years living in Germany as a child while his father was stationed at Geilenkirchen. Joel graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

He began his career at Pigg Enterprises as a salesman, where he excelled at providing exceptional customer experiences. Joel always showed a genuine interest in learning all aspects of the business to better support his customers. When the opportunity opened, he transitioned seamlessly into his current role as Finance Manager.

When he is not at the office, Joel enjoys watching basketball, exercising, and spending time with his family. He lives in Millbrook with his wife, Savannah, their son, Liam, and their two Dachshunds, Indy and Hazel.

Derek has spent more than 27 years in the retail world and built most of his career in the motorcycle industry. He is an avid motorcyclist who enjoys anything fast and motorized. Derek has been married for over 20 years and is the proud father of twin daughters, along with a stepson. Add a couple of grandkids and the Pigg family to the mix, and life stays busy.

Derek takes great pride in building strong, trusting relationships with customers and works hard to make sure the buying experience is easy and genuinely enjoyable. He enjoys all types of racing and nearly every sport.

He is not a fan of bad seafood, bad weather, or bad customer service.

Logan Howarth was born in Bitburg, Germany, into a military family. He has lived in Washington D.C., Guam, California, and Washington state. Logan graduated from East Valley High School in Yakima, Washington, in 2004 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministries from Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington, in 2010.

Before joining the Pigg Enterprises team, Logan served as a pastor in Bellingham and Bremerton, Washington. He also spent eight years with the United States Postal Service, working as a clerk, supervisor, and postmaster in Tracyton and Port Townsend.

Logan enjoys getting to know his customers and making sure they are well taken care of throughout their buying experience. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his wife and best friend, Nicole, and their six children. He also enjoys gardening and tackling home remodeling projects together as a family.

Taylor Lowe was born and raised in Prattville, Alabama, and graduated from Prattville Christian Academy in 2022. He later earned his degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Auburn University at Montgomery, with a concentration in Business Management.

As a member of the sales team at Pigg Enterprises, Taylor enjoys working with customers to understand their wants and needs and helping them find the right vehicle for their lifestyle. He takes pride in making the buying process simple, comfortable, and enjoyable from start to finish.

Outside of the dealership, Taylor enjoys watching sports and staying active through working out.

Jesse Fair was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, and graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in 2007. He later attended Feather River Community College and brings 14 years of sales experience to the Pigg Enterprises team.

Jesse enjoys meeting new customers and helping people find the right vehicle for their needs. What drew him to Pigg Enterprises was the family-oriented environment, and he takes pride in providing great customer service built on kindness, honesty, and trust.

As a member of the sales team, Jesse brings a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to make the car-buying experience simple and enjoyable. He is excited to continue learning more about the business while helping customers find a vehicle that fits their lifestyle.

Outside of the dealership, Jesse enjoys watching his kids play basketball and coaching. He has three children — Kaden, Dawson, and Noah — and also played semi-pro basketball for three years.

Kyle Davis grew up in Prattville and graduated from Prattville High School in 2001. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Operations Management from Auburn University in 2007 and proudly served in the Alabama Air National Guard from 2001 to 2007, including deployment during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

After spending 15 years in the steel industry, Kyle joined Pigg Enterprises in 2023, bringing a strong background in operations, leadership, and process improvement. As Digital Marketing & Technology Manager for Pigg Enterprises and Pigg Buys, he oversees marketing, technology, CRM systems, automation, digital advertising, social media, and customer engagement initiatives across both organizations.

Kyle is passionate about using technology, data, and creative strategy to improve the customer experience while helping both businesses continue to grow and evolve. He and his wife have two daughters and currently reside in Hoover, Alabama.

Gwyn Rhodes was born and raised in Alabama and is a 2022 graduate of Prattville High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Sales from the University of Alabama in 2026.

Her passion for creativity, communication, and connecting with others led her to pursue a career in marketing. As our Marketing & Social Content Coordinator, Gwyn enjoys capturing the special moments that make Pigg Enterprises unique. She is dedicated to creating engaging content that reflects the company’s values and community.

Outside of work, Gwyn enjoys spending time in the gym, making memories with friends and family, and never turns down a good chicken pot pie. She is excited to continue growing her career while helping share the story of Pigg Enterprises.

JD is a native of Phenix City, Alabama, and retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) in 2007. During his Air Force career, he worked in Aircraft Maintenance as a Crew Chief, Flight Chief, and Production Superintendent.

He also served as a Professional Military Education Instructor at the Air Force Senior NCO Academy and supported the Air Force Inspector General program as both a complaint investigator and command inspector. JD holds two Associate of Science degrees from the Community College of the Air Force and brings an extensive background in automotive maintenance to our team.

JD oversees the entire reconditioning operation at Pigg Enterprises and ensures that only the highest quality vehicles are prepared and offered for sale.

Cam was born and raised in Prattville, Alabama, and graduated from Prattville High School in 2021. During high school, he wrestled for Prattville High School, where he developed the discipline, work ethic, and competitive drive that still show in everything he does today.

Around the dealership, Cam is known as someone who can step in wherever he’s needed and get the job done. Cam began as an important part of our reconditioning team, helping make sure vehicles were clean, detailed, photographed, and ready for the lot and online listings. From December 2024 through July 2026, he also served on our sales team, where he brought positive energy, a great attitude, and a customer-first mindset to the buying experience.

Now moving back into a reconditioning and operations role, Cam is returning to one of his strongest passions: getting vehicles ready, keeping the process moving, and helping make sure every car meets the Pigg Enterprises standard before it reaches the customer. Whether he’s detailing a vehicle, helping with photos, assisting the team, or tackling whatever needs to be done, Cam brings reliability, pride, and a bright smile to everything he does.

In his free time, Cam enjoys working out and cooking. His willingness to learn, adapt, and excel in any role makes him a valuable part of the Pigg Enterprises team.

After retiring from a successful multi-decade career, Lamar joined the Pigg Enterprises team and now oversees all aspects of Professional Concierge Relations. Lamar has a true “can do” attitude and is known for getting things done the right way every time.

Around here, the saying goes, “If you want it done and want it done right, call Lamar.” His willingness to help, solve problems, and support the team makes him a valuable part of the Pigg Enterprises family.

Lamar and his wife have been happily married for almost 40 years, and he often says that part of that happiness comes from his post-retirement career with us. They have one daughter and son-in-law, who they consider fully theirs, several “sons” by choice, and one beautiful granddaughter who lights up their world.
